ABOUT US

HISTORY
Christ Miracle Church Mission (CMCM) Worldwide was founded by Prophet Peter Abiola Adebisi in 1989, in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria. The inaugural meeting was first held in a garage, subsequently moving to Oke-Ijebu in Akure, now the National Headquarters.
Under the leadership of God, Prophet Peter Abiola Adebisi was led to expand the church to Lagos. The first gathering was a powerful Night Vigil, held on January 28th 1995 which saw many lives being touched by the power of God. This encouraged the church to evolve the Night Vigil into monthly Night Vigils. The Lagos branch was then established on the 27th September 1996, in a rented hall along Oregun Road, Lagos. As the congregation grew larger, the church moved to our International Headquarters at Akiode, Ikeja, Lagos, on March 2000. To the glory of God, other branches have now continued to spring up across the world, including Christ Miracle Church Mission UK (CMCM UK).
CMCM UK was established through our first Night Vigil, on October 26th 2012 at The Hub, Star Lane, Canning Town. The church officially started with our inauguration on September 8th 2013 by God’s servant and the President of the Ministry, Prophet Peter Abiola Adebisi.
Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”
Luke 6:38
Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the LORD blessed him.
Genesis 26:12
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16
For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.
Psalm 30:5
Prophet Peter Abiola Adebisi
Prophet Peter Abiola Adebisi is a Nigerian inspirational Christian leader, prophet, author, and the founder and president of Christ Miracle Church Mission (CMCM) and Champion of Fire Ministry, headquartered in Lagos.
Prophet Adebisi was born into a royal lineage in Ila Orogun on Thursday, 15 January 1963, to Muslim parents—the late Mr. Tijani Adebisi and late Mrs. Tejumola Adebisi—in Ibadan, Nigeria. He had humble beginnings, with his parents struggling financially despite their best efforts to provide for the family. Through God’s calling upon Prophet Abiola’s life, his immediate and extended family were transformed and brought into Christianity.
Initially aspiring to become a human rights lawyer, Prophet Abiola studied at the Oyo State College of Arts and Science (OSCAS), now known as the School of Science, in Ile-Ife, Osun State. He was known as a rascal at school who loved playing football and earned the nickname “Algeria.” Even before fully understanding his calling, Prophet Abiola had a gift for seeing and sharing accurate prophecies concerning people's lives, including specific details of how and when they would occur.
In 1987, Prophet Abiola experienced a divine encounter when, surrounded by friends, he saw heaven open and fire descend upon him. He heard the clear voice of God saying, “I have given you the power of Peter.” Prophet Abiola suddenly lost his eyesight and became temporarily incapacitated. It was during this ordeal, at age 24, that he gave his life to Christ, and God began revealing his ministry focused on deliverance, salvation, and transforming lives. After regaining his eyesight, Prophet Abiola dedicated himself to prayer, fasting, and preaching God’s power.
After some time in Ile-Ife, he was divinely directed to Akure, where he was hosted by Mrs. Adegbola. He founded Christ Miracle Church Mission there on March 13, 1989. After successfully growing the ministry for over eight years in Akure, God instructed him to leave everything behind and relocate to Lagos.
Today, the church has expanded globally with numerous branches in Africa and beyond, featuring subdivisions such as Champion of Fire Television (CFTV), Champion of Fire Bible Institute, Youth for Christ, and CMCM Radio.
